Jacob Hack has lived in Franklin County since childhood, and the 6th district for 10 years. He has worked in the medical field for 24 years and currently works under Baptist Health. He is also a familiar face at the Office Pub and Deli, where he has worked part time for 20 years and enjoys connecting with friends and neighbors.
As Hack runs for Magistrate of the 6th District, his focus is on the things that matter most to
our community — smart growth, affordable housing, and strong economic opportunities for everyone in Franklin County. Hack wants to see our county grow in a way that keeps our small-town values intact while opening doors for new businesses and jobs. Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to live and the chance to build a good life right here at home. A big part of that means securing good, stable jobs for the people of our community — jobs that provide a living wage and a future for local families. By working together, we can create more opportunities for our workforce, support local businesses, and keep Franklin County moving forward while preserving the sense of community that makes this such a special place to live.
Hack's love for the county’s people and landscape motivates him to seek the magistrate seat. “I believe in listening to our residents, being accessible, and working together to make sure every voice in the 6th District is heard,” he said.
Hack is the proud father of two children, Caleb (22) and Maggie (9). Caleb is a pre-med student at the University of Kentucky and Maggie is a 3rd grader here in Franklin County. Outside of work, Hack enjoys spending time outdoors as an avid outdoorsman, fishing, exploring local history, supporting local events and cheering on the UK Wildcats.
Jacob Hack is a proud Franklin County resident who believes local government should be accessible, transparent, and grounded in common sense. As someone who cares deeply about this community, Jacob is committed to listening to residents, working collaboratively, and making thoughtful decisions that reflect the needs of the 6th District.
